No Experience Required


Most of our students start with no martial arts background. Our instructors guide you step-by-step so you can learn safely and build confidence at your own pace.


You don’t need to be in shape before starting — training will help you get there.


What You’ll Learn


Training at Krav Maga Anchorage focuses on building the skills and mindset needed for real-world self-defense.


Students develop:

Classes are structured to help students gradually build skills through consistent training and repetition.


Your First Class


Your first class is structured to help you feel comfortable and learn the fundamentals.


When you arrive:


• An instructor will greet you and help you check in
• You’ll participate in a guided warm-up
• Techniques are taught step-by-step
• Partner drills are controlled and supervised


Our goal is to help you learn, build confidence, and enjoy the training experience.


3-Class Intro Program


The best way to start is with our 3-Class Intro Program, which allows you to experience the training and environment before committing to a membership.


Most new students attend their classes within the first week to build momentum and see the best results.

Dress Code


For safety and professionalism, all participants must follow our dress code guidelines:


  • Wear clean, modest athletic clothing
  • Tops must provide full coverage
  • Bottoms may include leggings, athletic pants, or mid-thigh–length shorts
  • Jeans are permitted only for specific workshops when noted
  • No revealing or unsafe clothing (low-cut tops, crop tops, sheer materials, large metal buckles, etc.)
  • Remove jewelry and secure long hair when possible


Footwear Policy


We have a no outdoor shoe policy. Training may be done barefoot, in socks, or in clean indoor athletic shoes only.


First Day Requirements


  • Bring a valid photo ID for verification
  • Complete your waiver form prior to class:

Minor Waiver (Under 18) — completed by a parent or legal guardian
